Woodworking on a component for bespoke furniture.

Guide · investment and planning

What does pharmacy refurbishment cost?
Define the scope first.

Cost depends on the premises’ condition, the works required and furniture choices. A clear budget starts by identifying what stays and what changes, then describing the works, supplies and services needed to achieve the pharmacy’s objectives.

01

Define the project and its investment

We prepare the proposal around your pharmacy’s objectives. We identify the areas to renew, elements to retain and the works, building services and furniture required. Specifications, quantities and included services establish the scope and its investment.

02

The items that make up the investment

A project may include surveys, design, technical coordination, building works, services, lighting, flooring, wall finishes, furniture, displays, signage, transport, installation and final checks. Site condition, access, materials, timing and continued operation affect the cost. Establish which items apply before approving the quotation.

03

Refresh, phased refurbishment or full renovation?

A focused refresh improves selected aspects of appearance and use. Phased refurbishment sequences the work while maintaining a coherent final result. A full renovation reviews the layout and technical provision more extensively. The guide to phased refurbishment explains what must be assessed when considering continued operation.

04

Furniture costs: our manufacturing scope

We specify quantities, dimensions, materials, finishes and equipment for the counters, drawer units and displays we manufacture. Special shapes, integrated lighting and adaptations to existing furniture define the production work. We identify additional equipment and signage separately. Explore bespoke pharmacy furniture.

05

Services, exclusions and changes

Clarify design, measurement checks, transport, installation, removal of existing furniture and whether taxes are included. Specify the city, access, floor level and handling conditions, and agree how changes after approval are assessed. International enquiries also require discussion of currency, transport, receipt of goods and implementation responsibilities according to the agreed scope.

06

Prepare a useful initial brief

Send the plan, photographs and floor area if known. Identify furniture to retain, new services and preferred dates. If you have an indicative budget, include it with your priorities. This supports an initial discussion; a detailed quotation still requires technical checks and a defined scope.

Frequently asked questions

First answers.
To shape your project.

Can costs be established from photographs alone?

Photographs, a plan, floor area and objectives support an initial assessment. A reliable estimate requires checks of site conditions, dimensions, scope and specifications.

Is a price per square metre enough to compare proposals?

Not on its own. Premises of the same size may require very different works and equipment. Read floor area alongside quantities, materials, details and included services.

Does coordinated delivery help control the budget?

Coordination makes responsibilities, interfaces and cost items clearer. Budget control still depends on a defined scope, consistent drawings and choices approved before work begins.
